 It is Metroid Month!!!!
As many of you will be aware of by the end of this
sentence Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is coming out
later this month, August 27th. As you probably know
by now is that I am a huge Metroid nut. After Zelda
it is my favorite franchise. So in celebration of
Samus's new game this month is Metroid Month. I
will be posting Metroid Retrospectives when they
become available. So enjoy this Month because I
know I will.

This has been the best week for Smash Bros.
Updates ever!!!! New character, New stage, and the
best of all.... The unveiling of the new Adventure
mode. If you haven't seen it check it out
NOW!!!!!!!! It looks awesome. Also from the NEW
VIDEO Peach has been confirmed.

Who's Jill the Healer?
|
To answer your question El Muchachos, Jill is a
character in Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance and I
was playing it and the Pig Bros. were over and
Jill was very hurt and needed some healing. So The
Pig Bros. started chanting "Heal the Jill, Jill
the Healer" and that is who Jill the Healer is.
Pretty cool character. IN other news the second
part of the Metroid Retrospective is up along with
Frame 4 of "The Journey's of Pac Man and Link".

This is probably the story: Link and Pacman are
trying to get back the money but then Pacman
see's a chance to get 5000 ruppee's by stealing
or something so then he gets it and pays it off
and frames link so Link goes to jail and Pacman
feels guilty and rescues him.

It looks like Nintendo is following my lead and
declaring that August is Metroid Month. Yesterday
they released the original Metroid (NES) on the
virtual console and announced that Super Metroid
(SNES), which is one of my favorite games of all
time, will be released on the virtual console next
Monday. Along with this retro-blowout they have
released the first ever downloadable preview for
the Wii console, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Preview. It is a free download on the Wii Shop
Channel that includes four videos of Metroid and
two more will be releaved later this week. But the
sad part about all of this is that I am the only
that can enjoy all this Metroid content since I am
the only one with a internet connected Wii. So
that just means you will have to continue to visit
gaming misc. to get your Metroid fix. Speaking of
which the Third part of the Metroid Retrospective
is up. enjoy.

Super Mario Sunshine: Has it's glimmering waters deceived us all??
That's right everyone! You read the title of the
comment right! The Mario Sunshine water effects
were just a big hoax! Sure, the water LOOKS
great from the shore but go under water and what
happens? The screen slightly tints blue! Mario's
hat doesn't float off his head, his hair stays
plastered down, and if you look up from
underwater at a right angle, it doesn't even
have the blue tint! So instead of a nice thick
water, all we get is a wavy plastic stretched
across the scene! An on top of that, the ocean
is completly empty. Sure they put some sand at
the bottom but there aren't any sand bars and
the game only has ONE coral reef! In conclusion,
the Mario Sunshine water effects all wowed us,
but it was really just a trick!!

Hey everyone, I just broke 50% in Star Fox
Adventures. I'm at 51% now. I dunno why everyone
was complaining so much, it's actually a pretty
fun game, it's just not star fox. I mean,
Krystals hardly in it and if you just ignore
Trocky's "Where are we going??" It's a prety
cool game.

SF64 (Including all levels and the fight with

Also, I've beaten Adventures-- a feat you could
NEVER accomplish! AND I've beaten assault and
gotten 10 friendship trophies 10 bronze medals
and five silver medals! I've also played the NES
version of star fox and the DS version!! On top
of that I understand the story more because I

Actually I have not beat Metroid. I am only about
25% done with the game. I was to busy moving in to
play it and today I went to the football game.

It's INCREDIBOY!!! The best Prime ever! The
controls are o-some, the ship is o-some, and the
story is a million times o-somer!!! Who'd ever
think that Metroid would get voice acting before
Zelda? The next Zelda better have it.

Master CHIEF??? His game is like Samus', but not
as good! Speaking of good, Corruption is the
goodest game ever!!! I'm right about to take out
the Western generator thing on Bryyo--mighty
exciting. It took me forever to figure out how
to destroy the eastern one though, I probably
killed about 100 of those stinkin' flying
pirates before I figured out to have the ship
bomb the whole place to smithereens!! Funny, huh?

Kick his butt off what? Anyway, I succeeded in
blowing up the Western generator (hardest part
of the game so far) and disabled the shield
around the giant seed-comet thing. Then I faced
the boss, and failed because I didn't have
enough energy left to go into phazon mode and
finish him off. I'll be back though!!

Another dissapointment
Mr. Stick Pics Guy, you have again dissapointed
me by picking another LAME video game character.
I'm frankly disspointed thatm with all these
great characters running around, you picked a
personality-less drone commando. It'd be like
picking a Stormtrooper as a video game charcter
of the month. He doen't have any character at
all. He's just a green space man that goes
around blowing up aliens. Pretty stupid, if you
ask me.

Yay you guys can't talk because you don't play any
of his games. He does have a personality and halo
is not like a metriod game sure their both first
person view and your fighting aliens but the story
line are totally different and so are the aliens.
Also in Halo you are not all alone on your
missions you get cool friends to help you like
Johnson.

Actually I have Halo 1 and have gotten to the
last level. It is a fun game, but not as fun as
metroid.

I don't. And Halo is probably a fun game, but
that doesn't mean that one of its "characters"
should be honored for a whole month. They're all
the same, just different colors. What's so
unique about Master Chief's character, besides
the fact that he's the leader? They're all just

soldiers. Now Samus: she's got more personality
(and better games, even though I haven't played
any of them)!

What a baby you are Piggy and you do get to see
Master Chief in the video clips. Maybe his
personality is not as developed as Samus's, but
the multi player mode on Halo kills metriod's
attempt at multiplayer.

'Tis true, Metroid's multiplayer did sucketh (at
least the echoes one did, I'm not sure about
Hunters), and Halo is a very popular game, and
MC is the main character, so he is a fair choice
for character of the month.

The second Nintendo decides to announce anything
about Star Fox I will put Fox up as the Video Game
Character of the Month but I have to keep the
integrity of the feature. I can't just decide to
put up anyone. Just look at the past. A game that
I was playing or was newly released was around the
month that that certain character was chosen. I
can't just go around picking any old character. I
can't be like " Oh I like Donkey Kong games I will
make Donkey Kong the character of the month". You
Pig Bros are always complaining. If you had never
played the game the character is from then you
complain and complain. Just for your information
there are about 400 games that come out every
year. So just just have patience Fox will have his
day but it is not this day!!

Phantom Hour GLass is basically just a big soap
opera. The controls feature controlling with the
stylus, and every other button does the same
thing: fire!

game, or it could just as easily apply that he
IS in the game, and you can get different types
of trophies of him, One from the brawl version,
one from gamecube: assault, and one from 64. I
guess we'll just have to wait and see. Oh, and

But anyway-- Back to the conversation. Lesse,
where were we? Oh yeah! Twilight Princess was
extremly short, so it's a bit misleading. After
beating it a couple times, all that's left is
the Wi-Fi multiplayer, and like in ocarina, it's
fun.... For about a minute. So let's recap:
Here's a game that controls like a dream,
features fan favorites, and online multi-mode,
but when all the elements get thrown in
toghether, it congeals into something less then
perfect. TP SCORE: 2.0

Well, I played through the first third of Halo 3
today. It was all right, but it kind of stinks
using dual control sticks after playing
corruption.

Phantom Hourglass is out and I have yet to get it.
Also I am not sure if I told anyone but I beat
Metroid Prime 3 about a week and a half ago. It
was sweet! Final boss was awesome. I thought it
was a little to short but I will probably play it
again next year (don't have the time now with
Phantom Hourglass coming out, along with Orange
Box, Fire Emblem, Battalion Wars 2, Zack and Wiki,
Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.,
Mario Kart Wii and all the other titles that will
suck up all my time this year and coming year.)
But it was awesome. I am not ready to say which
Prime is the best ( I think I have to replay them
all) but it was definitely up there with Twilight
Princess as the best Wii game.

Yeah, corruption is great. But c'mon, it blows
the other two primes out of the water!

I watched some cut scenes and I was all
like "Wow." like how Samus blows that hole in
the ship at the beginning of the game, and ten
floats in space and grabs back onto the ship and
reenters through that little hole, and then the
one where she's on top of ridley, holding his
mouth open and blasting into his mouth, then
there's the ending cut scene where **********
happens (Don't wanna spoil it for Muchy)

It's SOOO awesome. In the other two games, the
best cutscene is like, samus riding on the
elevator. Boring!

Presentation (cut-scenes, voice acting, music,
ect.) wise Metroid Prime 3 obviously blows the
other two out of the water. But I still Really
really like Prime 1. Maybe because you never beat
Prime 1 El Muchachos you just can't understand but
Prime 1 was so less systematic and was a lot more
free flowing. Not just go blow one thig up and
then go onto the next world to go blow the same
thing up on that world. And I liked the feeling of
being alone. In Prime 3 you never get that. The
Aurora Units are always bothering you. But Trust
me when I say they are all some of my favorite games.

Well, I may not have beaten Prime 1, but I've
beaten even less of Corruption. Still, the
controls alone of Corruption make it a better
game.

The controls are much better. I do agree. Maybe
they will release some sort of budget Wii-make of
the first two Metroid Primes. I would buy that!

Jackapuss just got phantom hour glass! He came
over today and let me start a file! I already
beat the 1st dungeon! It's an excellent game.
Especially for a handheld, controls feel really
natural.

Your story made no sense from the beginning. First
of all as I pointed out Jakapuss is not a fan of
Zelda games. Secondly why would he let you play
his brand new game. The only thing that made your
story at all believable was the fact that you just
never know what Jakapuss is capable of. He
surprises me everyday.

And even with all those inconsistencies you were
still gullible enough to fall for his prank. How
